Leisure breakfast at Hotel Verde Zanzibar Luxury Resort & Spa, around 0900hrs we will go out and start our full day excursions tours.
Old Stone Town Tour – Gently we will be heading to the historic center ready to start our guided walking tour. We’ll take you along the streets of Stone Town, explaining the history and architecture of some of the most emblematic sights.
One of the buildings you’ll see is the House of Wonders, which now houses the Museum of History and Culture of Zanzibar and the Swahili Coast. You’ll also see the Palace Museum, the Old Fort, and Anglican Cathedral, where we’ll stop to admire the monument to the slaves.
Prison Island Tour – After or guided walking tour at Stone town we will drive to the seaport and catch your boat for a 20 – 30 minute head to Prison Island. Originally used as a prison for rebellious slaves, this island later became a quarantine station for cases of yellow fever. These days, however, it is an idyllic tourist resort that is home to a collection of endangered giant tortoises!
After finishing your tours you will drive for 1 hour to Nungwi area for your overnight stay.
Leisure breakfast at Nungwi Dreams by Mantis, and enjoy the rest of the day at the beach.
Enjoy the Zanzibarian sunshine, and take a dip in our magnificent infinity swimming pool with endless views of the Indian Ocean.
Indulge in freshly prepared seafood platters and exotic dishes, with a cocktail in hand. Marvel at sunsets while taking leisurely strolls along pristine white-sand beaches, directly accessed from the hotel.

After your leisure breakfast at Nungwi Dreams by Mantis, feel free to enjoy another full day of relaxation by the Indian Ocean, a bit of sunbathing perhaps, or something a bit more energetic such as Sea Turtle Conservation Pond, Kite Surfing, Snorkeling, Kizimkazi Dolphins and Diving.

Leisure breakfast at Nungwi Dreams by Mantis, depart at 0830hrs and drive towards to Zanzibar town.
You’ll proceed with half day tour doing a Spice tour – Spices and herbs were originally introduced to Zanzibar by Portuguese traders in the 16th century, brought from their colonies in South America and India.
This tour is a walking tour of a spice farm (Shamba). While there, you shall see how the spices, herbs, and fruits grow and are cultivated. Your tour guide will describe how the crops can be used.
You will be smelling and tasting spices, herbs, and tropical fruits such as clove, lemongrass, nutmeg, cinnamon, turmeric, vanilla, coconuts, papaya, chili, black pepper, jackfruit, cardamom, cassava, and oranges. After the tour, you will enjoy a traditional Swahili lunch at the farm. Here is when you can taste the different ways of using spices.
The tour finishes with a stop at a spice stall selling fresh packaged spices (cash only).
